Jane Malyn

Jane Tarnoff Malyn, MA, RD, LDN, CEDRD holds a BS from the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School and a MA in Nutrition Education from Immaculata College.  Her interest in nutrition began with the birth of her first daughter and her subsequent training as a nursing mothers counselor with Wayne-Paoli Nursing Mothers.  She returned to school to earn her Masters degree and subsequent RD certification from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Since 2000, Jane has been working in her private practice, Nutrition Works, LLC, in Devon, PA.  The primary focus of her practice is helping individuals suffering from eating disorders as well as individuals with general health and wellness concerns.

Jane was awarded the Certified Eating Disorders Regiestered Dietitian credential by  the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp).

Jane previously held adjunct faculty positions at Immaculata College, Pennsylvania State University (Frankford Hospital School of Nursing) and Montgomery County Community College.

Jane has published “Pyramid Picks; Introducing the Food Guide Pyramid in the Elementary School”, Journal of Nutrition Education, September/October 1993, and “A Full Day of Nutrition Education”, Journal of Nutrition Education, May/June, 1993.  She is a member of the the International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals (iaedp), the  Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and the National Eating Disorders Association.
